A parlor experiment from The Paranormalist
The Talking Board
In 1890 a Baltimore lawyer named Elijah Bond filed the patent for a talking board, and the city has been asking it questions ever since. Bond lies in Green Mount Cemetery under a headstone shaped like his board. This one is Vince Wilson’s, and it keeps the old house rules.
Ask kindly. Keep a fingertip on the planchette. Always say good bye.
Ask your question, then rest a fingertip on the planchette.
For entertainment, in the spirit of the Victorian parlor. For a séance with a real table, real candles and Vince at the head of it, see theatrical séances or try The Stopped Clocks.
